Welcome to The Reflexology Pod

Hello, my name is Moira and I am a Clinical Reflexologist and Occupational Therapist based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1996 and a Reflexologist in 2018.

What is reflexology? Reflexology is a complementary therapy which is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears, correspond with different areas of the body. I believe that working these points or areas aids relaxation and helps improve wellbeing.

Simply put, the human body is amazing and complex. Generally, we feel well and happy when all our body systems work together and are in harmony. It doesn't take much to upset this harmony to make us feel "out of sorts" or "in pain" or "unhappy". Stresses and strains whether physical or emotional in one part of our body can contribute to imbalance somewhere else. By working specific reflex points on the feet, hands or ears this can encourage the body's own healing response and promote balance and well-being.
